The accession consists of 22 blueprints and drawings of planned alterations and remodeling of the Scripps Institution of Oceanography Library, constructed in 1915 and demolished in 1977. The blueprints and drawings include first floor and mezzanine plans for a January 10, 1961 planned remodel of the building. They include blueprints for the first floor, mezzanine, foundation and elevations for the building dated June 1961. The accession includes an electrical plan for the building dated July 21, 1961. It includes library alterations including plans for the basement floor, first floor, mezzanine, and second floor dated September 12, 1961. A drawing of the library circulation desk dated October 28, 1964 and plans for the basement, first floor, mezzanine floor, second floor and third floor dated January 24, 1967 are included in the accession.
